TERRY FOX RUN

SEPTEMBER 15, 2024 – 44th Anniversary Run

It was over 25 years ago when the Bolton Terry Fox Run was in need of a new home for the event. The Bolton Kin stepped forward and held the event at their Kin Centre. Since then, 35 Chapel Street has been the home of the Terry Fox Run. To this day, our club has been working tirelessly to help keep Terry’s dream alive.

Coming up to every Run date, signs are posted throughout the town and the run is advertised in the local newspaper. All leading to the amazing 100+ runners that show up to our Kin Centre year after raising thousands of dollars each year for cancer research. Each run brings participants from downtown Toronto, Wasaga, and even a runner all the way from India; a decent trip to specifically participate in Bolton’s Terry Fox Run.

The Bolton Terry Fox Run consists of a 1 kilometre circuit. This route makes it easy for any participants to run any amount of kilometres they want. The route can be approached in whatever way one desires; walk, run, cycle, or even skateboard. The Bolton Terry Fox Run welcomes people who are participating for the first time as well as those who are returning. Some participants have not missed a single event in over a decade.
