2010 BOLTON KINSMEN NOVICE AA TOURNAMENT

Tournament Information 

  1. Location: Albion/Bolton Community Centre located on the south hill of Bolton. A map of Bolton and instructions to the rink are available upon request.

  2. Entry Fee: The entry fee will be $500.00. Please make out your cheque to the
    "Bolton Kinsmen Hockey Tournament".  There will be NO admission fee for parents/spectators/players. A penalty fee will be imposed to a team wanting to withdraw from the tournament after January 1, 2010.

  3. Eligibility: All personal on the players’ bench must have an approved OMHA certificate.

  4. Tournament Format: Six (6) teams will be invited and guaranteed three games each. Teams will be placed in two divisions of three teams and they will play each  other once. For the third game, teams will cross over and play a team in the other division (1st vs 1st for the Championship, 2nd vs 2nd and 3rd vs 3rd).  Schedule will follow as soon as it has been set. If we have 8 teams entered, all teams will still be guaranteed 3 games.

  5. Game Format: All games will be 3 periods of 10 minutes, stop time. In the event of a tie game, it is now SUDDEN DEATH. More info to follow with schedule.

  6. Awards: Trophies will be awarded to all players participating in the Championship and Consolation Championship Games.

  7. Mini 3-on-3 Tournament: This tournament will be held between Games 8 and 9 of the tournament. More info will follow. Every team will participate. 
  8. It is understood that the individual participating in this tournament is responsible for any injury or mishap that might occur in coming to or during the tournament or going home from the tournament. No bodychecking.
