What We Do

The Kinsmen Club of Bolton have proudly served Bolton for over 50 years. KIN is all about serving the greatest needs of the community. This club involves itself in the community in a great many ways. Whether it be running the bar at Caledon Day, hosting Bolton's Terry Fox Run, and of course, the annual Santa Claus Parade. We are constantly searching for ways to better our community and to promote the ideal that "KINdness matters".

The Club is made up of 18 members; 18 dedicated men and women. Each of these members are volunteers who care about the health of their community and the causes we support. By volunteering their time, it allows the club to allocate all of it's funds to serving the community and contributing to great causes such as Cystic Fibrosis. Cystic Fibrosis is actually a national partner of Cystic Fibrosis as a result of contributions to the cause since 1964. Kin has contributed over $40 million to the cause. Our volunteers are compassionate and really fight for the causes they believe in. Our members help out at our many projects and events throughout the year as well as attend meetings throughout the year to keep our goals on track and perhaps introduce new needs and ideas to address.

Many people seek out involvement with KIN for a wide variety of reasons. However, they end up staying for those reasons in addition to reasons they had not necessarily thought of. KIN is a great place to become involved in your community and contribute to the needs of said community. KIN also opens a door into meeting people of influence in the community. Our club has met with local politicians and city officials. Meetings happen on a biweekly basis and regularly features guest speakers. These speakers educate us on their goals in the community and what projects they are running to meet these goals. KIN is a great place to come if you want to become more involved, make connections, and form friendships in the company.
