Terry Fox Run on September 20th at the Bolton Kin Centre
Come out with the Kinsmen; fight cancer and run for a great cause! 2015 marks the 35th anniversary of Terry's inspirational "Marathon of Hope". The Kinsmen Club of Bolton is the official Bolton representative for the Terry Fox Foundation
For over 45 years, the Kinsmen Club of Bolton has served our community's greatest needs by funding projects and lending a helping hand in various service projects and functions. Our membership consists of men and women who want to be of service to their community and have a lot of fun doing it.
The Kinsmen have supported local service projects such as organizing the Terry Fox Run, the Annual Bolton Christmas Parade, Tyke Hockey Tournament, Kinsmen Canadian Pond Hockey Championship. We support various kids sports teams and organizations and scholarships for students entering post-secondary education programs.
We founded and sponsor the Kindred Spirits Dragonboat Racing Team representing Bolton in many area races.
When there are elections at the municipal, provincial or federal levels, we organize all candidate debates to give our community an opportunity to meet and question their candidates.
We also actively support our national cause raising money for the Canadian Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, the leading research organization looking for a cure for this disease.
Our fundraising projects include collecting used clothing with our blue bins in the Zehr's parking lot and you see us at community events like "Midnight Madness" with our Pizza, Perogie and Jewellery stand.
We also just have a lot of fun and formed terrific friendships.
Are you interested in making an impact in the community? If you are, come and check us out!!!
We meet at 6:30 p.m. every 1st and 3rd Tuesday at the Kin Center, 35 Chapel Street in Bolton (beside Baffo's Restaurant). Drop in or drop us an email
