ABOUT
THE KINSMEN CLUB OF BOLTON
2008 was
a landmark year for Bolton Kinsmen with the active recruitment of women
and the joining of our first 7 female members. Bolton Kin welcome all
men and women 19 years of age and older to consider joining us. If you
are interested, join us for a dinner meeting by contacting us at boltonkin@gmail.com
or talk to any of our members - we're very approachable!
Bolton
Kin meet the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month, beginning September through
to the end of June. We meet at The Kinsmen Centre located at 35 Chapel
St. in Bolton, Ontario. Visit our project
to refurbish a rundown OPP building into a modern meeting facility.
The club
was chartered in 1964 into The Kinsmen and Kinette Clubs of Canada (now
known as Kin Clubs Canada). The motto of the Kin Clubs is "Serving the
community's greatest needs" and in our 45 years we have very much honoured
that objective.
The Kindred
Spirits Dragonboat Racing Team was founded in 1999 and continues
close ties to the Club, including volunteer support of the pond hockey
tournament. Kindred Spirits has evolved into a club of its own and also
welcome new members!
Our
